160 Years of Stories: A Photo Exhibit

160 Years of Stories: A Photo Exhibit takes a moment to highlight some of the people who make James Weldon Johnson Park the amazing space it is. The exhibit is a showcase of some of the Jax residents who, day after day, make James Weldon Johnson Park feel alive. Storyteller Barbara Colaciello gathered the stories and Toni Smailagić captured the pictures of these "everyday heroes", who keep this park one of jacksonville's most iconic spaces even after 160 years.

This exhibit, produced in partnership with Friends of James Weldon Johnson Park, will be on view in The Jessie's Great Hall now through May 2026.
